MINISTRY CELEBRATION SERVICE/CHILI COOK OFFJoin us tonight @ 5PM for our quarterly Ministry Celebration Service. Afterwards, our Women on Mission will host a Churchwide Chili Cook Off in the fellowship hall. Please bring a pot of chili to share. We’ll have all the trimmings and condiments to go with it.
PRIME TIMERS OCTOBER EVENTS• October 12th 1PM, lunch at Kathy's Catfish & BBQ Restaurant in Trinity (Dutch treat). Meet us at the church at 12PM to carpool.• October 15th 10AM, prepare & serve lunch to church staff for Pastor Appreciation Month – fellowship hall.
UPCOMING SUNDAY SERMON SERIES BEGINS OCT. 13thBro. Mahlon begins a new sermon series titled “A Stolen Life” next Sunday, October 13th. This series will focus on life issues that rob us from experiencing our abundant life including addiction, anxiety, depression, poverty, loneliness, anger, and lust.
SPECIAL MUSICAL GUESTSMusical guests Darrell and Dawn Richie will be with us Sunday, October 20th during our morning service. A love offering will be received.
BROTHERHOOD BREAKFASTAll men join us for a Brotherhood Breakfast 7:30 AM Sunday, October 20th in the fellowship hall.
DISCOVER SHOAL CREEKInterested in more info about Shoal Creek? Join us on October 20th @ 8:45AM in the library for breakfast with Bro. Mahlon. We’ll go over the basics of Shoal Creek and you’ll be able to ask your questions too. No RSVP required. Childcare is provided through Sunday School.

COMMUNITY FALL FESTIVAL W/ BOYS & GIRLS CLUBSunday, Oct. 27th 6PM – 8PM Veterans Park. Free food, candy, games and fireworks. THANK YOU to all who have signed up to host a trunk. You can still sign up to host a trunk at www.shoalcreekbaptist.org. Candy donations are needed, please put donations in the collection bin in the welcome center.

SERVANT OF THE MONTHOctober’s servant of the month is Mr. Leonard Summerford. Mr. Leonard faithfully helps with various maintenance projects around the church.
