Bro. Mahlon LeCroix

Bro. Mahlon began pastoring Shoal Creek in December of 2019. He spent years of his life in and out of rehabs and halfway houses fighting addiction, but God radically saved him and made him into a new creation. He has served in ministry for over 15 years and has pastored three churches located in the states of Florida and Alabama. He is a graduate of The Baptist College of Florida with a Bachelor's in Ministry and is currently enrolled in Luther Rice Seminary pursuing a Master’s in Divinity. Bro Mahlon has served as a Deacon and was a “pulpit supply” preacher for multiple associations while seeking his bachelor’s degree. He was licensed into the ministry on July 25, 2010 and was ordained into the ministry on January 2, 2011 by Fairview Baptist Church in Athens, AL.
Bro Mahlon married Ashley Simmons LeCroix on April 20, 2002 and they have two children; son Samuel (Sam) Turner LeCroix and daughter named Margaret (Maggie) Jane LeCroix. Ashley grew up in Jackson, AL., is an R.N., and a graduate of Auburn University. Bro Mahlon loves most sports, but mainly football and basketball. He loves his Auburn Tigers. His hobbies include; gardening, studying history, lifting weights, riding motorcycle, and watching movies. He is a member of Disciple Christian Motorcycle Club that seeks to make disciples and support those in the “1%” motorcycle clubs with prayer.
